As a result, the proportion of bolt balls is greatly increased, which increases the cost and reduces the aesthetics. This result is more prominent when there are side trusses.
  2. Nowadays, the space frame design software is becoming more and more intelligent, and it is possible to simply design a mixed structure in which bolt balls and welding balls coexist. But industry insiders know that welding balls will greatly increase installation costs and even affect the construction period. In fact, most of the welding balls can be turned into bolt balls by adjusting the angle of the partial rods.
  3. Optimization of grid material. It is recommended not to use Q355B material lightly. Q355B may save a bit of steel consumption, but the cost of accessories and the difficulty of procurement have greatly increased, which ultimately increased the cost and affected the construction period.
  4. The auxiliary components on the space frame structure should be bolted as far as possible instead of on-site welding.
  5. For some projects with small spans and simple workingconditions, it is not recommend to customize pot-type supports.
