Space structure industrial plants have the characteristics of high strength, good earthquake resistance, large practical space, and low investment. Therefore, they are widely used in China and are favored by many contractors and enterprises. Space structure plants have many advantages, but there are also some problems caused by other key points, such as water seepage.

There are many reasons for this situation, and the following aspects are analyzed in depth:
- Unscientific design: The slope coefficient is too small, which is easy to cause water accumulation. The size of the sewage pipe is too small, resulting in poor water flow. The waterproof level is insufficient, and the difference in rainfall in each place is not considered.
- Material level: The correct selection of metal roof panel type is very important. Good products can largely eliminate the hidden dangers of water leakage.
- The assembly does not meet the specifications: the area at the joint is not well handled. The steel bars between the color plates are not firmly overlapped, and they seep down when it rains. The steel nails in the color plate burst the rubber plate and seep down along the gaps in the steel nails. The sealant at the junction of the light belt and the color plate is not enough. The construction team trampled randomly, resulting in unevenness, which caused water leakage over time.
The parts of the grid factory that are prone to water leakage are generally at the joints of the eaves gutter, the left and right sides of the windows, the flat roof light belt, the 1.2m end of the wall, and the ventilation tower.
In addition to the above reasons, there are several key points that need to be paid attention to:
- The gutter is too small, causing backflow, or the drainage pipe spacing is insufficient or the pipe diameter is too small.
- The pipe joint is not added
- There is no water stop strip
- The roof anchor length is insufficient, or the water addition measures are not taken
- Wrong operation, such as not closing the window on a windy day
- The quality of the sealant is poor.
- The deflection value of the beam is large, which meets the standard requirements, but does not meet the application requirements, and is not considered at the same time as the color steel tile.
