The inner law of the space frame metal material

2023-06-12

Its internal laws are mainly reflected in its mechanical properties. The steel structure space frame material will cause changes in size and shape under the action of external forces. The change of this size and shape is called deformation. Deformation can generally be divided into elastic deformation and plastic deformation. Elastic deformation refers to the deformation that disappears with the load; plastic deformation refers to the deformation left by the disappearance of the load.

Any mechanical parts will bear the role of external forces (that is, load) during the process of processing and use. The characteristics of the material under the action of load are called the mechanical properties of the material, including the performance of hardness, impact toughness, strength, fatigue strength, plasticity and other properties.

  1. Hardness is a comprehensive performance index that characterizes the elasticity, strength, and plasticity of metal material. Practice has proved that the higher the hardness of the general material, the better the abrasion resistance, the higher the strength;
  2. The impact toughness is the mechanical performance indicators such as the strength, plasticity, and hardness of the metal material. However, the role of some parts impacted the load in the work, and the requests of impact toughness need to be put forward;
  3. Stress refers to the ability to resist plastic deformation and break under the action of external forces. The greater the ability to resist external forces, the higher the intensity;
  4. Fatigue intensity is the role of mechanical parts due to periodic degeneration during work. Although the stress that has been suffered is lower than the yield strength of the material, after a long period of time, it will also cause cracks or sudden damage, which is called fatigue damage;
  5. Plasticity is the ability to produce plastic deformation under the action of external forces. There are two commonly used plastic indicators: the elongation of the style and the section contraction rate after the style is pulled.
