Steel structure welding seam defects should comply with the following regulations:

  1. Weld welding tumors, raised or more than high heights should be used to remove excess welded metal with sand wheels or carbon arc gas;
  2. Defects such as welding seam depression, arc pit, bite or insufficient weld size should be replenished;
  3. The welds are not fused, welded holes or slag, etc. After the defects are completely removed, welding should be performed;
  4. Cracks on welds or raw materials should be determined by magnetic powder, penetration or other non -destructive detection methods. Use a sand wheel to polish or the carbon arc gas to remove the cracks and the intact welds or raw materials of the 50mm ends of the two ends, and use the penetration or magnetic powder detection method to determine the cracks completely cleared before replenishing welding. For the retreat of cracks on the welded joints with a large degree of restraint, before the carbon arc plane is cleared, the crack defect should be removed after the cracks ends at both ends of the crack. For the repairs of welding cracks, the welding engineers should be notified to investigate and analyze the causes of the cracks. After formulating a special rewriting process plan, according to the process requirements;
  5. The preheating temperature of welded defect repairs should be higher than the preheating temperature of normal welding at the same condition of 30 ° C ~ 50 ° C;
  6. The welding seam repairs should be continuously welded, and post -heat and thermal insulation measures should be taken when the welding is interrupted;
  7. The number of defects in the same part of the weld should not be repaired more than twice. When more than twice, the welding process should be evaluated before repairs, and subsequent repairs should be performed after passing the assessment. The welding joint area after repairs should be added or colorful.
