How to prevent the deviation of the installation size of the spherical space frame structure?

Spherical space frame structure installation due to the unstable platform of assembling, the forced positioning of rods, improper bolt tightening method, improper welding process and other problems will cause dimensional deviation, so how to prevent it is particularly important.

(1) Before assembling the spherical space frame (spatial lattice structure), an assembling platform should be set up on a solid foundation to prevent possible settlement and affecting the assembling accuracy.

(2) During the assembling process, the rods should always be in a non-stressed state, and it is strictly forbidden to load or force them in place not in accordance with the designed stressed state.

(3) It is not advisable to directly tighten the bolts at one time during the assembling process of the rods. Instead, one or two rows of structural units must be installed longitudinally and transversely along the building structure and the bolt ball joints can be all tightened in place after measurement is correct.

(4) The welding should be carried out according to the appropriate welding process. The welding should extend symmetrically from the center to the outside. It is strictly forbidden to weld both ends of the same rod at the same time. It is advisable to weld the lower chord node first, and then the upper chord node.

(5) If the rods are found to be too long, too short, or bent during the assembly process, they should be replaced in time.

(6) The structural nodes of the tube analysis frame with a large welding workload can be assembled and welded separately in advance, and the plane sections that have been inspected can be assembled on the final assembly frame.
