With the accurate positioning of the first steel truss, the first lifting of the large-span steel truss of the roof of the University Sports Center was successfully completed, and this key node will lay a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of full interpenetration and rapid construction of each specialty.
The single body of sports center consists of gymnasium, training hall and swimming hall, with a construction area of 37,484m2, adopting the structure form of “steel frame + steel truss floor bearing plate + large span steel truss roof”, It is the single truss structure with the largest span and heaviest weight in this project.
The first battle is the charge, the first lifting member is the main truss of the stadium. In order to ensure the safety and control of large-tonnage and large-span steel truss lifting, the project has adopted BIM technology for many times to make process sampling for truss lifting, and based on the design characteristics of inverted triangle space steel truss, the construction process of ground assembling and then lifting in two sections was determined, and temporary support frame was set in the middle of the span, and 500-ton crawler crane with super tower working condition was used for lifting operation.
The Sports Center successfully completed the first lifting of the large-span steel truss of the roof cover, marking the most difficult single unit of the project’s steel structure construction into the roof cover closing stage, 12 sets of steel structure large lifting machinery, 205 construction workers began to work intensively at the peak, ready for the subsequent metal roof, curtain wall and finishing interspersed construction.
The person in charge of steel structure construction of the project said that it takes at least 45 days of day and night construction from spotting and alignment, ground tire frame assembly to steel truss transfer to site splicing and welding, and then lifting, calibration, fixing and welding, and the successful completion of the first lifting of steel truss is inseparable from the unremitting efforts of all members of the project.
